Pricing
Members join Alpha-Next free, and drafting a world is free. To publish it, a host pays a monthly plan, plus a small commission on sales on most plans.
Drafting is free. Hosts choose a plan when they publish.
How it works
- One checkout. Every sale in a world goes through Alpha-Next checkout. Course access, cohorts, the roster, receipts, refunds and missed-payment follow-ups all run from it, so outside checkouts (Spiffy, Zapier-linked tools) are not supported.
- Your money, your account. Buyers pay straight into the host’s own Stripe account.

Neighboring plans cost the same at each switch point: $211.67 at $2,233.33 a month, $350 at $5,000, $650 at $15,000, and $750 at $25,000.
Fees on each sale
- Commission: the plan’s percentage, taken from the seller’s proceeds.
- Platform fee: 1.5%, paid by the buyer and shown as its own line at checkout.
- Card processing (Stripe): 2.99% + $0.30. The seller pays it on their price; Alpha-Next pays it on the platform fee.

Terms
- Changing plans: upgrade anytime, effective immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the month.
- Billing: plans are billed monthly.
- Payout and tax-form costs: the seller also pays Stripe’s payout and tax-form costs ($2 for each month the host is paid out, 0.25% + $0.25 per payout, and year-end tax-form fees).
- Refunds: any refund returns the price and the same share of the platform fee, whatever the reason.
- Included usage: every plan comes with generous storage for course assets and a monthly allowance of livestream minutes (exact allowances to be confirmed). No automatic usage charges at launch.
- Rate changes: launch pricing is preliminary and based on market averages. Over time, Alpha-Next will refine its pricing to fit the service it provides. Any change comes with 30 days’ written notice. Full Terms of Service.
